If there's no dancing or running, why is it called Dance Marathon?
Dance Marathon at Iowa State University is one of over 400 campuses across North America that participate in the Miracle Network Dance Marathon program at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Started at Indiana University, this student-led movement has raised over $350 million for the children's hospitals in their communities since 1991. Although the dancing is minimum, we continue the legacy of this program.

Where do the funds raised by ISUDM go?
Dance Marathon at Iowa State University raises funds that go directly to UI Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital. We work with the hospital and the leaders of the organization to determine funding projects that are impactful for the children treated at Stead and align with the mission of Dance Marathon at Iowa State.
